Eric and I are the Founders Of Iron Gait Percheron Rescue.

With over 30 years of  hand on experience combined with 3 years of Equine Education. Consisting of 2 years at Meredith Manor learning equine science, behavior & nutrition. Also 1 year learning the excellence of Monty Roberts techniques of handling horses. 1998 First becoming a member of the Percheron Association & to date.

My love for horses always has been undescribable & unconditional.

I have devoted my life to the well being of these most noble animals in the past while living in Pennsylvania, with a combination of Breeding, Raising, Training, Showing  Percherons, Rescued local Thoroughbreds from the nearby West Virginia race tracks as well as Rescues from the Ohio Amish & just my nearby PA communities.

I believe that with ANY horse you need to take your time. Earn their trust and you will then earn their heart. All of your love and many many hours of patience is the way to do this. Once you have done it, Nothing will ever compare to the warmth within your heart. You will NEVER recieve a better reward than the devotion of a loved horse.

I have had numerous people tell me, that when they shall die, they pray to come back as one of my horses :)
